This Privacy Policy applies to Penguin Browser, Blue Whale PDF, and Pantry Reef. These apps are designed to operate without collecting personal data.

Data Collection

Penguin Browser, Blue Whale PDF, and Pantry Reef do not collect, store on external servers, sell, or transmit personal data to the developer.

Blue Whale PDF

Blue Whale PDF is a document scanning, importing, organizing, and PDF viewing application. The app does not require an account and does not transmit your documents, scans, images, or PDF files to external servers.

Documents created, scanned, imported, or saved through Blue Whale PDF are stored locally on your device unless you choose to export, share, or save them to another location using features provided by your device.

Camera, Photos, and Files Access

Blue Whale PDF may request access to your device camera, photo library, or files when you choose to scan or import a document.

These permissions are used only to provide the feature you selected. Blue Whale PDF does not upload your camera images, photos, imported documents, or files to external servers.

Document Processing

Document processing, including creating PDFs, generating previews, reading document text, and organizing files, is performed locally on your device.

Blue Whale PDF does not use your documents or document text for advertising, analytics, profiling, or artificial intelligence model training.

Blue Whale PDF Local Data Storage

Blue Whale PDF may store certain information locally on your device to support its functionality, including:

  • Scanned documents
  • Imported documents
  • Generated PDF files
  • Document names and metadata
  • Document previews and thumbnails
  • Locally processed document text
  • App settings and preferences

This data remains on your device and is not transmitted externally by Blue Whale PDF.

Pantry Reef

Pantry Reef is a grocery-list, home-pantry, expiration-tracking, meal-planning, and recipe-assistance application. Pantry Reef does not require an account and does not send your pantry, grocery, or kitchen information to the developer or to developer-operated servers.

Pantry Reef Local Data Storage

Pantry Reef may store information locally on your device to provide its features, including:

  • Grocery item names, quantities, and categories
  • Purchased and favorite item status
  • Home pantry item names, quantities, and categories
  • Optional food expiration dates
  • Saved favorite items
  • App settings and preferences
  • Reef conversation content during app use

This information is used only to provide Pantry Reef’s organization, grocery, pantry, expiration, meal-planning, and recipe features. Pantry Reef does not use this information for advertising, tracking, profiling, or sale to third parties.

Pantry Reef On-Device Assistance

On supported devices, Pantry Reef uses Apple’s Foundation Models framework and Apple Intelligence to provide Reef meal suggestions, recipes, cooking guidance, and grocery recommendations. This processing is performed on the device.

Pantry Reef may provide the on-device model with the question you enter, your locally recorded Home pantry, and your locally recorded Grocery List so that Reef can answer your request. Pantry Reef does not send that information to the developer, use it for advertising, or use it to train a developer-operated artificial intelligence model.

Reef is available only when the required Apple Intelligence features and on-device model are supported, enabled, and ready on your device.

Penguin Browser Local Data Storage

Penguin Browser may store certain information locally on your device to support its functionality, including:

  • Favorites
  • Browsing sessions
  • Downloaded files
  • Account information stored only on-device
  • App settings and preferences

This data remains on your device and is not transmitted externally by Penguin Browser.

Web Browsing

Penguin Browser uses standard web technologies, including WKWebView, to display websites. Websites you visit may collect data in accordance with their own privacy policies. Penguin Browser does not control the privacy practices of third-party websites.

Information that you enter directly into a website may be transmitted to that website as part of normal web browsing. This information is handled by the website you are using and is subject to that website’s privacy policy.

Tracking and Analytics

Penguin Browser, Blue Whale PDF, and Pantry Reef do not use analytics, cross-app tracking technologies, advertising SDKs, or third-party advertising tools.

Third-Party Services

Penguin Browser, Blue Whale PDF, and Pantry Reef do not integrate third-party advertising or analytics services that collect personal data on behalf of the apps.

Penguin Browser may display third-party websites selected by the user. Those websites operate independently and may use cookies, analytics, advertisements, or other technologies according to their own privacy policies.

Data Sharing

Penguin Browser, Blue Whale PDF, and Pantry Reef do not sell or rent your personal data. The apps do not share your locally stored app data with third parties except when you intentionally use a system feature to export or share content.

When you choose to export or share a document, file, image, link, or other content, that content will be provided to the app, service, or person you select through your device’s sharing features.

Data Retention and Deletion

Locally stored information remains on your device until you delete it, remove it through the applicable app, reset the applicable feature, or uninstall the app.

Because Penguin Browser, Blue Whale PDF, and Pantry Reef do not store your app data on developer-operated external servers, there is no externally stored account, document, pantry, grocery, or Reef conversation data for the developer to retrieve or delete.

Children’s Privacy

Penguin Browser, Blue Whale PDF, and Pantry Reef do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the apps do not collect personal data for the developer, no such information is knowingly stored by or transmitted to the developer.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the apps, their features, or applicable requirements. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
